The brief

Meadowlark Ranch runs weddings, corporate events, carriage services, and horse boarding, and hosts therapy partners who book time on the ranch. Staff needed one place for horses, contracts, bookings, and invoices, with QuickBooks Online kept as the source of truth, while boarders, partners, and event coordinators each needed a private portal. I also wanted staff to be able to update the public website themselves, without touching code.

What I built

  • Public website with a hero slider, mega menus with looping video cards, an FAQ accordion, and pages for weddings, corporate events, carriage services, and horse boarding
  • Block-based page builder in the staff dashboard, so staff can edit and publish public pages, including the home page, without code
  • Staff dashboard for horse records and health history, printable feed charts per horse and for the whole barn, boarding contracts, bookings, tasks, and inventory
  • Client portal where boarders see their horses and the barn’s daily care log, keep documents, sign contracts and waivers, and pay invoices
  • Invite-only area where therapy partners request time on the ranch, with staff approval into the calendar and records for their sessions
  • Event coordinator workflow: inquiry approval, rental agreement e-signing, deposit and balance payments, change requests, a shared day-of checklist, and close-out
  • QuickBooks Online sync with QuickBooks Payments for card and bank payments, autopay with emailed receipts, and refunds from the invoice page
  • Shared team inbox for inbound and outbound mail, Google Calendar sync, and file storage

Detail 01

Pages like Weddings are managed in the staff dashboard, so the ranch can edit and republish them without a developer.
