About Rick
I’m a full-stack developer in Maine, and I’ve been building for the web for more than 20 years.
In that time I’ve built e-commerce stores, custom dashboards, CRMs, booking and ticketing systems, SaaS products, browser games and the automations that hold a business together behind the scenes. I work across the whole stack, from the pixels on a phone screen to the database and the scheduled jobs that run at 2 a.m.
Most of my clients are the kind of businesses that keep a town running: carpenters, welders, excavators, ranches, venues. They need a site that works as hard as they do, and someone they can actually reach. That’s the job: one person, start to finish, who designs it, builds it and picks up the phone after launch.
I also build my own products, like ArborDash, software for tree care companies, and Slash and Cash, a browser arena game. Building my own keeps me honest about what it takes to run software for real customers.
