The brief
The owners needed a page for each of their four services and a quote form that keeps bots out, plus a company inbox they could use from a browser with no separate hosted mailbox. Their trailer also needed wrap panel files laid out from their own annotated, measured photos, with editable lettering for the wrap shop.
What I built
- Homepage and four service pages: mobile welding, light-duty farm repairs, powder coating and window well covers
- Quote form with a bot check that loads only as the form comes into view, sent to the owners with the customer as the reply-to address
- Private company inbox that installs as a home-screen app, receives and stores company mail, sends replies from the business address, and protects sign-in with hashed passwords and rate limiting
- AI spam sorting that moves unsolicited SEO and marketing pitches to Spam only at 90% confidence or higher, plus per-sender allow and block rules
- Drag-to-compare window well cover slider, on-demand welding video clips, and a service-area map
- Trailer wrap concept mockups, a vector redraw of the client’s welder crest, and a five-panel wrap pack with editable SVGs, print PDFs and bundled fonts
- Deferred the bot check to cut about 975 KB from what loads before the page first appears; the live homepage scored 96 mobile performance and 100 for accessibility, best practices and SEO in a Lighthouse lab run
- 59 backend tests plus scripted browser and accessibility audits at desktop and mobile widths
